Basic Guidelines for Wearing a Gemstone
Quality Matters
Always choose 100% natural, untreated, and unheated gemstones.
Ensure it is at least 5–7 carats (or as per our recommendation based on your chart).
Metal used should be pure:
- Gold for Ruby, Yellow Sapphire
- Silver for Pearl, Moonstone
- Panchdhatu for Blue Sapphire, Cat’s Eye, Hessonite
- Copper or Silver for Coral
🔮 The Vedic Ritual to Wear a Gemstone
Step 1: Purification
Step 2: Energizing (Prana Pratishtha)
- Sit facing East (or North for spiritual stones like Pearl or Yellow Sapphire).
- Place the ring/pendant on a clean cloth or plate.
- Light a ghee lamp and incense.
- Chant the Beej Mantra of the respective planet 108 times using a mala or mentally.

Step 3: Wearing the Gemstone

- Wear it in the correct finger:

- Little Finger – Emerald
